SOUTHEAST Exhibitor: Our Story is One of Continuous Innovation It starts in 1938 with our founder, metallurgist Philip M. McKenna, who after years of research created a tungsten-titanium carbide alloy specifically for cutting tools. That single development not only led to a new class of machining tools that cut faster, lasted longer and drove productivity in everything from the automobile to the airplane, but also led to the opening of McKenna Metals Company in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Today, that company is Kennametal Inc.—a recognized leader in metalworking serving customers across continents and industries including transportation, construction, aerospace, machining and cutting, energy and general engineering. We have a reputation for building innovative solutions for our customers’ most challenging applications. The name Kennametal is synonymous for high-quality, high-performance tools that can withstand the most strenuous conditions and bring ease to a wide range of machining operations. We help our customers’ operations run longer, faster and with greater precision. We don’t cut corners. We cut metal. Your toughest materials don’t stand a chance.

SOUTHEAST Exhibitor: MISCO Refractometers provide precise metalworking fluid (MWF) concentration measurements to maximize feed and speed rates, reduce surface finish problems, and reduce tool wear and skin problems. Palm Abbe™ Digital Handheld Refractometers are easy-to-use, providing twice the precision of competing digital refractometers while eliminating the subjectivity of reading shadow lines in "spyglass-style" analog refractometers. For continuous fluid monitoring, the IRIS™ Inline Process Refractometer is easy to install on machine sumps and connect directly to a PLC or data capture system. All digital handheld and inline units can be custom programmed with fluid-specific scales to eliminate the need for manual fluid factor conversions. A world leader in the refractometry field for 70 years, MISCO products are made in the USA in Solon, Ohio.
